Richard Padovan : ウィキペディア英語版 | Richard Padovan Richard Padovan (born 1935)〔(Author biography ) from R. Padovan (2002), "Dom Hans Van Der Laan And The Plastic Number", ''Nexus IV: Architecture and Mathematics'', pp. 181–193.〕 is an architect, author, translator and lecturer. In the 1950s he studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture;〔 he has practised architecture in several European countries, and taught at the University of Bath.〔 The Padovan sequence, a sequence of numbers with properties similar to the Fibonacci numbers, is named after him〔.〕 despite the fact that in Padovan's 1994 essay ''Dom. Hans van der Laan : Modern Primitive'' he attributed the sequence to Hans van der Laan.
